Animis opibusque parati. And "ready for anything" is what I am when I travel. Growing up in the Midwest can shelter one from the diversity of land, people, and cultures on our planet. There is a lot to see, do, learn and experience. I can only hope life is long and prosperous enough to allow for some modest adventures.
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." Helen Keller

I don't really speak German but I will certainly try when in Germany! And I will try French in France, Spanish in Spain, English in England . . .

So far, I have been fortunate enough to travel to London, England in March 2000 and Western Europe (including Amsterdam, France, Spain, Monaco, Italy, Austria, and Germany) in May 2002.
In August 2005, we traveled around San Antonio, Galveston, Houston and New Orleans.
In June 2004, we headed west to Montana to relax and visit National Parks in the area.
The highlight of our trip to San Francisco in August 2003 was an unplanned sidetrip to Monterey.
With so many places to visit and so little time, we have to plan carefully. The United States offers so much diversity and beauty that there are so many places that cannot be overlooked.
