Garlic Ginger Chicken Wings
This is a fantastic oven-baked chicken wing infused with fantastic Asian flavors of honey, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. These wings take some time to make but the results are outstanding! The chicken meat falls of the bone while the outside is a bit crunchy just like any good chicken wing should be. This recipe also works well with store bought marinade sauces.
Ingredients:
  1 dozen chicken wings
  12 oz honey
  9 oz soy sauce
  6-7 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup fresh ginger root, grated
For garnish:
  green onion, thinly sliced
  sesame seeds
Garlic Ginger Chicken Wings

Instructions:
Many chicken wing recipes will have you cut off the wing tips. I just leave them on to make this a very simple recipe.

In a small sauce pan combine honey, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. Simmer over a low heat for about 5 minutes.

Line the bottom of a rectangular baking dish with foil (for easy cleanup). Arrange chicken wings in the baking dish and pour sauce over the top. Cover with foil.

Cook in a 375º oven for 45-60 minutes. Turn chicken wings. Increase the oven temperture to 475º. Uncover chicken wings and cook for 45-60 minutes.

Remove chicken wings from baking pan and place on baking sheet. Make sure each chicken wing is separated. Turn off oven and place chicken wings back in the oven for 20-30 minutes.

Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds. Serve the chicken wings warm. This particular recipe requires no dipping sauce but remember you might need blue cheese or ranch dipping sauce if you use a spicy store bought marinade. Enjoy!

Serves: 1-2 people
