Birthday Boy Joe's Biscuits & Gravy
Joe loves biscuits and gravy! He is almost always disappointed in the flavor when he orders it in a restaurant. Although he says this is not the same as his mother's, this recipe tastes great. Add some scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon to make Birthday Boy Joe's favortite breakfast. Of course, if you don't use a spicy sausage then this recipe really isn't spicy.
Ingredients:
1 can Pillsbury Homestyle buttermilk biscuits, baked according to package directions
1 tube Tennesse Pride ground sausage, spicy
  3 tbl flour
  1 can chicken broth
  1 ½ cup milk
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Birthday Boy Joe's Biscuits & Gravy

Instructions:
Brown sausage over medium heat. When fully cooked, remove sausage from pan leaving as much grease in pan as possible. Stir in flour. Cook for 1 minute. Stir in chicken broth and milk. Bring to boil and simmer 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add a generous amount of black pepper to taste.

Split biscuit in half and ladle sausage gravy over the top.
