Maple Chicken and Noodles This is a noodle casserole with a sweet maple cream sauce and chunks of chicken, onion and apples. Absolutely wonderful! Ingredients:   16 oz package of wide egg noodles, cooked according to package directions   2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced   1 large onion, chopped   1 apple, chopped   4 tbl butter   1 tbl brown sugar   ½ cup maple syrup   2 cups half & half Instructions: In a saucepan, melt butter. Add chicken and cook thoroughly. Add onion and apples and cook until onion is soft. Add brown sugar and maple syrup. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add half & half and bring sauce to a simmer. Cook to reduce and thicken the sauce. Toss the noodles with the sauce and serve. Serves: 4 Return to Poultry Entrees Index
