Strawberry Cheesecake Brownies
The perfect combination of rich, double-chocolate brownie, creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries. It is hard to keep these around for very long.

This recipe follows the basic principles of Tropical Dream Bars but changes the flavors.
Ingredients:
For the cake:
  1 (18 1/4-ounce) package double chocolate cake mix
  1 egg
  8 tablespoons butter, melted
For the filling:
  11 ounces (8 ounce + 3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  4 eggs
  ½ tsp. vanilla
  1 (16-ounce) box powdered sugar
  1 pint fresh strawberries, diced
For the topping:
  cocoa powder
Strawberry Cheesecake Brownies

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350º.

To make the cake: Combine all of the ingredients for the cake and mix well with an electric mixer. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13 by 9-inch baking pan. Prepare filling.

To make the filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs, and vanilla and beat together. Next, add the powdered sugar and mix well. Gently fold in strawberries. Spread cream cheese mixture over cake batter and bake for 45-50 minutes. Make sure not to overbake as the center should be a little gooey.

Allow to cool and sift cocoa powder over the top.
