Dark Chocolate Pistachio Toffee |

My sister, Tammy, has created this delicious toffee recipe. The pistachios and dark chocolate make it decadent! |
|
| Ingredients: |
1 cup roasted pistachios, chopped
½ cup butter
¾ cup brown sugar, tightly packed
1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions: |
|
|
1. Butter bottom and sides of a 9x9 inch square baking pan. Spread pistachios on bottom of pan.
2. Melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and bring to a boil over medium heat while stirring constantly. Boil for 7 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and immediately pour over pistachios. Spread evenly with rubber spatula.
4. Pour chocolate chips on top. Cover with cookie sheet for 1 minute or until soft. Spread chocolate over toffee.
5. Cut into bite sized pieces while still warm.
6. Refrigerate until chocolate topping is set.
