Houston, Texas: August 2005
We planned the entire vacation around a Cubs vs. Astros baseball game on August 15th. The game started out great with the Cubs scoring 2 runs in the first inning, but they only scored 2 more runs throughout the rest of the game and gave up 12 runs to soon-to-be World Series runner-up Astros.

In Houston, we stayed at another very nice hotel that was just a couple blocks from the ballpark. The Magnolia Hotel has very impressive rooms.
